The Arnold Janssen Catholic Mission Foundation, Inc. (AJCMFI), in partnership with RCAMES Holy Family Alternative Learning System (ALS), celebrated the graduation of its Bread and Pastry Skills Training participants with a Christmas fellowship.
Held as part of the foundation's pre-Christmas celebration, the event brought together program leaders, trainers, and students, highlighting the program's dedication to empowering out-of-school youth. The AJCMFI and Holy Family ALS aim to equip learners with essential life skills, offering them renewed hope and opportunities to become productive citizens of the country.
Fr. Emil Ascaño, LRMS, Site Director of AJ Holy Family ALS, welcomed the graduates and participants, emphasizing the importance of acquiring practical skills for self-sustainability. Fr. Judy Bañez, SVD, Program Director of AJCMFI, commended the graduates for their hard work and dedication throughout the training. Certificates of completion were distributed to the participants, led by their trainer, Ms. Janeth Magayon.
The fellowship event also included a distribution of food packs to families in need, generously donated by St. Jude Parish. This gesture highlighted the community's spirit of generosity and solidarity, especially during the Advent season.
The Bread and Pastry Skills Training is part of the hope-based educational programs facilitated by AJCMFI and RCAMES Holy Family ALS. By equipping learners with practical skills, the program enables them to contribute meaningfully to society while fostering a sense of dignity and purpose.
This celebration not only marked a milestone for the graduates but also served as a reminder of the transformative power of education and community support.
